    EASY WAYS TO ENROL

    If you have completed a course with Macarthur Community College you will automatically receive a brochure in the mail. 

    Brochures are also available at local libraries. 

    ONLINEIf you have previously enrolled with Macarthur Community College using a credit card, you can now enrol using this simple form

    IN PERSON: Call in to the College office at Cartwright Public School (Willan Drive, Cartwright). Bring your enrolment form along with cash, cheque, money order or credit card. Office hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday including school holidays but not public holidays.
    BY PHONE: Ring the College office and enrol over the phone using your Bankcard, MasterCard or Visa. Phone 9826 6455 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
    BY FAX: Fax us any time. Complete an enrolment form and add your Bankcard, MasterCard or Visa details. Our fax number is 9826 6977.
    BY REPLY PAID MAIL:

     Send a completed enrolment form with your Bankcard, MasterCard or Visa details or a cheque or money order. Do not send cash.

    NO POSTAGE STAMP IS REQUIRED.

     

    BY PURCHASE ORDER::Organisations enrolling staff or clients for training and development purposes will be invoiced if a purchase order number is quoted.

    ENROLMENT INFORMATION

     Fees for each course accompany course details. Fees cover only tuition and course notes where appropriate. Any materials required are an additional cost. Concessions are available - see below. All course fees in this brochure include GST except where indicated by "GST Free".

     concessions

    Concessions are available to full Centrelink beneficiaries in receipt of one of the following: uAged Pension uCarers Pension uDisability Support Pension (accompanying carer enrols free) uSickness Benefits uSole Parent Pension uUnemployment Benefits (Newstart/Jobstart Allowance) and to Seniors Card holders. Concessions can be claimed at the time of enrolment only, by writing your concession number on the enrolment  form and signing in the space provided. Those claiming concessions will need to produce their concession card/document at the course upon request, otherwise the full fee will become payable. Concessions are available on all courses except where ‘No Concession’ appears in the description. To work out your concession fee, take $30 off the published fee.

     membership

    For a yearly fee of $5.50 (incl GST) you can become a member of the College, vote in College Council Elections and have a say in how the College is run. Add $5.50 (incl GST) and tick the membership option on the enrolment form. Membership may be taken out at any time and is for four terms.

     certificates

    Certificates are issued at the request and discretion of the tutor and are subject to attendance (7 of 8 sessions or equivalent) and participation requirements. A $5.50 (incl GST) fee is charged for replacement certificates; $11 (incl GST) if the course was completed more than 12 months ago.

     course changes

    If the College has to change the way a course is delivered (due to tutor illness, for example), the new arrangements will be negotiated. The people in the course, the tutor and a College Co-ordinator shall take part in the negotiations in order to reach arrangements acceptable to all concerned.

     course attendance

    Children, relatives and friends are unable to be accommodated on College premises or in classrooms while participants are attending courses. No smoking on school grounds. Please switch off mobile phones while attending your course.

     receipts/confirmation

    A receipt/confirmation will be posted to you within three working days from the receipt of your enrolment. Take your confirmation along to the first session of your course for validation as a receipt. Should you not receive this confirmation within 3 or 4 days please contact the College office. Final confirmation is your responsibility. Duplicate receipts/confirmations are not issued.

    Early enrolments enable the College to plan better and save money. Every day from April 5-16, the College will select at random from the enrolments received that day, one enrolee to receive their course free of charge for this term. So don't delay, enrol early and win!

    Enrol early and avoid disappointment. Course numbers are limited and cannot be exceeded. The College office is attended daily to handle enquiries and process enrolments. All participants must be pre-registered before attending their selected course. Enrolments received after 5pm Wednesday April 28 will be accepted subject to course availability. Registrations must be received at the College office by close of business, Friday April 30. Enrolments for Weekend courses or courses starting later in the term should be received at least one week before advertised start date.

     

    LOCATION OF COURSE VENUES

    Campbelltown High School: Beverly Road, off Chamberlain Street. Car parks in school grounds off Beverly Road and Chamberlain Street. Centre is 1.2km from railway station. Courses on Saturdays 9am-5pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights 7pm-9pm.

    Elderslie High School: Hilder Street, off Camden Valley Way. Car park in school grounds. Courses on Monday, Tuesday nights 7pm-9pm.

    Fairfield High School: Horsley Drive near corner Nelson Street (600m from railway station). Car park in school grounds. Courses on Monday, Tuesday nights 6:30pm-8:30pm.

    Ingleburn High School: Oxford Road between Cumberland Road and Collins Promenade (1km from railway station). Enter via lower driveway. Courses on Monday nights 7pm-9pm.
     Liverpool Girls High School: Forbes Street, opposite Ambulance station. Car park between school and hospital (900m from railway station). Courses on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights 7pm-9pm.

    Cartwright Public School: College office, Willan Drive. Enter cul-de-sac behind shops. Bus route 851 and 854 from Liverpool Station. Courses 7 days per week, various hours.

    Picton High School: Hume Highway south of cutting. Car park is in the school grounds.
    Courses are held on Monday nights 7pm-9pm.

    St Johns Park High School:
    Corner Mimosa and Greenfield Roads. Enter via car park opposite Cheyenne Road. Courses on Wednesday nights 6:30pm-8:30pm.
